We stumble upon mixes daily. Truth be told, I’ve been in the music scene for over a decade. I’ve been a DJ before there was a CDJ, back when we selected music that no one had heard, and that made us cool. It wasn’t about playing tracks that pleased every fucking person, it was about curation. The respect for a DJ came because they took the time to dig and educate us. To deliver me an experience no one else could. To mix it so well, you never stopped swaying.
And what happened here. I was just served a mix on a silver platter. From a Porn Star. I respect everyones choices in life. They chose them and it was what made them who they are. Experience, life… all things combined create a concoction with limitless possibility.
Out of nowhere, someone fresh on the scene, gives me an experience. It’s clear; her untainted ears are ready to deliver what the music scene (I thought) had killed. The vibe is solid. And I am into it.
