Roads – Cortel

We’ve come across a handful of Russian-based acts brewing several shades of electronic over the years, but none quite like Nizhny Novgorod trio Cortel and their recently released self-titled body of work. Fairly unknown outside their region, the three stepped aside from genre boundaries and went on to create rather avant-garde, electronic-accented R&B. There’s much to sink your ears into on the project, and highlight tracks Run”, “Roads”, and “One Word” show that.
